When all the icons highlighted in blue on the desktop
For XP Users, when the text below all the icons on the desktop
was highlighted in blue, the steps may be followed to get rid of it.
1) Right click on desktop and select Properties
2) Select the Desktop tab
2) Select the Desktop tab
3) Click on Customize Desktop.
4) Lock desktop items -- check box ticked, uncheck (cancel the tick) it.
5) Click OK.
